Description

I imaged the Jellyfish Nebula at the January 2019 Meeting of Charlie Elliott Astronomy that meets monthly at the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Management Area just east of Atlanta. The skies are dark, the people are friendly, and the skies were clear for a change after the meeting. We had a good mix of observers and imagers that night and several stayed until 3 a.m.

The constellation of focus this month at Charlie Elliott Astronomy was Gemini. The Jellyfish Nebula was well placed this month for imaging to the east with enough time to get a decent amount of data before the object crossed the meridian.
